Description
The Ludovic Ballouard Upside Down is a masterpiece of independent watchmaking that subverts traditional timekeeping. Conceived during the financial crisis of 2008 as a philosophical statement that 'the time is now', the watch features upside-down hour numerals scattered across the dial. Only the current active hour flips upright to indicate the time via a central hand, creating a mesmerizing mechanical ballet every hour.
Key Features
Patented mechanism where individual hour discs flip 180 degrees instantaneously on the hour; inverted numerals; master independent watchmaker craftsmanship
Dial Description
White or silver frosted/lacquered dial with a minimalist layout. The central pin holds traditional hour and minute hands, but the hour numerals are arranged peripherally inside individual rotating discs that flip upright only when that specific hour is active.
